Podcasting on Rational Alchemy.We are looking for free thinkers who would like to post and find a home for their skeptical podcasts on Rational Alchemy. Your podcasts may be on any subject or even a variety of subjects. Just go for it. We want to hear from you and what is on your mind. The free thinkers of the world need to be counted and we want to help. We should not be back ground noise to those individuals that uses the Internet, radio and TV just to line their own pockets and lets be honest; from religion to homeopathic cures that's all they are doing. A cheep way to sell their products or their books. Better yet, send me money and God will forgive you of all your sins. (I'm telling you Brian, Hubbard was right, the only way to make real money is to start a religion.) All that said, get the creative juices flowing, pull out your microphone and start talking! You will be submitting your work to Nigel (the webmaster) and I will be then be adding your podcast to new section on the Rational Alchemy web site. Your voice will be heard. But wait there's more.
Word of Warning. Sadly to be aired live on the radio show we have to be FCC friendly. There are no ifs ands or buts! So when recording if one of those famous Anglo-Saxon words slips from your lips you will be automatically dis-qualifying yourself from the radio opportunity.
Format to be used.
Please follow the following format.
8 minutes maximum in length. (please contact me (Nigel) if you would like to submit a much longer piece)
Mono. This helps everyone because a mono mp3 is approx. half the size of it's stereo equivalent. 22050 Hz (22kHz). This is the best format between quality and size. As it's voice only no one will hear the difference. 16bit
Please check after converting.
1minute of audio = .9 Megabyte file size. (This is approximate only and should be used as a guideleine)
The file MUST be less than 10 Megabytes.

No Libel Laws in Science
The use of the English libel laws to silence critical discussion of medical practice and scientific evidence discourages debate, denies the public access to the full picture and encourages use of the courts to silence critics. The British Chiropractic Association has sued Simon Singh for libel. The scientific community would have preferred that it had defended its position about chiropractic through an open discussion in the medical literature or mainstream media.
