I believe in using green energy. I understand climate change and want to make a difference. But this may be a bit much.
Yes, that's a solar powered vibrator. I first saw it in a green technology catalog. While I appreciate, um, enthusiasm, I just don't find this practical. Do you leave it in your window for everyone to see while it charges? Maybe insert it and walk around all day with the panel stuck to your shoulder like an epaulet? Are batteries really that bad for the environment?

No Libel Laws in Science

The use of the English libel laws to silence critical discussion of medical practice and scientific evidence discourages debate, denies the public access to the full picture and encourages use of the courts to silence critics. The British Chiropractic Association has sued Simon Singh for libel. The scientific community would have preferred that it had defended its position about chiropractic through an open discussion in the medical literature or mainstream media.
